About Terrie

For most of my adult life, I have been teaching in some way.  Using my Bachelor’s degree in Math Education, I taught math in the classroom for 7 years and have tutored various levels of math for 20 years.  Also, I have worked in day care centers and homeschooled my daughters all the way through school. 

My passion for music began when I was a child. While growing up, I took piano lessons and was in band throughout junior high and high school. I taught my daughters to play piano and have been teaching others to play for the last 8 years. Years of music experience has taught me that every child can learn when given the proper support and tools.

I tailor lessons to each student’s needs and aim to help students excel at their own pace.
